This guy drove slowly past us. His truck windows were very dark. This part of the river shows relatively high vehicle use. I don't know what that means.

Here we encounter what I believe is a great egret.
Ben is interested, but he doesn't approach him. I tell him we're going the other way and he readily turns away.
The male builds a nest much like the weeds he is hovering near and then attracts a female. Perhaps that is what is going on here and who knows, there may be a female in the tumbleweed.

This guy thought I took photos of birds. He said someone told him that. He asked if I knew the name of the bird that was an endangered species.
