Hike on cloudy morning with the Olympus E5 camera and Zuiko 14-54ii lens.
Plenty of signs of recent rain on this hike -- lots of soft sand.
When Duffy is in familiar territory he likes to run ahead.
On the drive over here I saw what I thought were some Coots in a large mud puddle. We had never been this way before. I noticed that Duffy had decided to let Ben lead.
I thought I saw coots when we drove by, but these are sea gulls and they've moved to the other side to let us pass.
This is probably fertilizer -- don't know why it was dumped here. Fortunately the boys showed no interest in it -- plenty of things to sniff on the other side.
Duffy is back in familiar territory. Even so he doesn't want to get too far ahead.
