The ducks took off and I began snapping. I didn't have the shutter speed fast enough but I wasn't going to stop and mess with the camera. I was going to take what I could get.
And so they are off to who knows where.
Meanwhile there are plenty of ducks who stayed right here.
Until some of them decided to take off as well.
This hike was my first real test with both the 55mm & 100mm lenses. Both were impressive.
Still don't have my shutter speed fast enough. Also, I suspect I should have had the ISO at 400 instead of 200 for most of these shots.
Hike on 1-6-16 using an Olympus E3 camera and a Zuiko 14-54ii lens -- both protected against rain. A chance of it was predicted and did rain a bit before we finished and got back to the Jeep.
This guy has moved from the north levee which is lower to the south. I've only seen water get up this high on two occasions in 16 years so he is pretty safe.
Probably not finished hauling all his stuff to the new location.
Do you think this thing leaks?
